The VIN Club black tie charity ball is an event in support of the Rural Africa Children’s Trust (RACET), a UK registered charity established in 2008 to advance secondary education in rural Nigeria.
The charity works solely to improve the quality of life and education for Nigerian children in rural communities where a significant number of families are subsistence farmers and simply cannot afford the cost of secondary education. They offer promising students a full bursary to cover the cost of tuition, textbooks, writing materials and external exam fees. Without RACET to cover the gap, talented children would be left behind and unable to complete their education.
“RACET relies on donations from individuals and families, mostly in the UK. Further resources are urgently needed, and we wish to thank you for helping VIN-Club raise much needed funds for RACET to help fund secondary school scholarships to ensure no child is denied an education due to poverty”.
