Queen Afua is a Master Teacher
in the realm of alternative health and natural living. She will present
a seminar on Black women’s health and wellbeing with a particular
focus on natural approaches to fibroids. She will teach women the importance
of loving and honoring self by spiritualising the words we speak, the
food we eat; the space we live and work in, and our relationships.
Men are welcome to the event! Included in Queen Afua’s presentation
will be a look at Prostate Cancer (dubbed the “silent
killer” in the Black male population) and the alternative
health techniques men can use in healing this condition.
Relationship issues will also be on her agenda, particularly mother-daughter
relationships.
New light will be shone on the Black male/female debate as Queen Afua
argues, “Women usually suffer from fibroids around the age
of 35 years and it is the same for prostate cancer in men. A man is a
reflection of the woman’s state. They are our mirror image. We are
sharing the same emotional baggage and toxic foods.”
