i have only been using the internet in the last 5-7 yrs and i have been on a few of these dating sites....can someone tell me what a fake person is?
im sticking my hands up in (mis)using this term but i mean fake profiles. we all know that there are many of those, even here on blacknet.
whilst i feel the internet world is different as we can hype ourselves up to be something we are not, also hide behind it and become anonymous. the people who use the internet are infact real....but im up to being challenged on this.
real people create the numerous fake profiles, yes? no?
so when people say that they dont want to communicate with "fake" people what do they mean? it makes me think about the real side of themselves they dont want their prospective online mate to know about. we need to think about the "un"real side of ourselves before critisising "the fake" in others.
its just a thought i wanted to share.
