Born in North Carolina and raised in the DC area, Tony Woods is a one of kind comic legend, always in control of his audience. A seasoned veteran in the comedy business Tony is recognised by fans and fellow comedians alike as one of the best in the business. He is a favourite throughout the comedy world and has left his mark on virtually every corner of the planet from Canada to Australia and Europe.

WILL E ROBO
Will-E Robo is a comic talent on the rise to international stardom! His career catapulted when he appeared at the world renowned, Apollo Theatre, winning six times. He went on to appear twice on both BET’s Comic View and Russell Simmons Def Comedy Jam, and made memorable appearances on P. Diddy’s Bad Boys of Comedy, in 2005 and 2007 for which he was given the title of P.Diddy’s Number 1 Bad Boy of Comedy. In 2008, he featured on Martin Lawrence’s First Amendment Stand-Up. He has received the Flip Wilson Award for Best Original Act and was nominated for Best International Act at the London Black Tie Comedy Awards in 2009. His determination and natural ability have won him an army of fans on both sides of the Atlantic. His loyal fan base in the UK enabled him to showcase his talents in his own sold out show at the Indig02 earlier this year.

Energetic, charismatic, versatile and animated are just a few words that describe Will-E Robo’s stand-up routines. He is a universal comedian, overflowing with energy, combining his story-telling abilities with vividly humorous physicality and amazing sound effects that paint clear, hilarious pictures. Glenda Jaxson
American Legends of Comedy is to be hosted by UK’s multi award winning hilarious, comedienne, Glenda Jaxson one of the most in demand comediennes on the circuit. Glenda cleaned up in the 2009 awards scene, winning best female comic for both the Black Entertainment Film & Fashion Awards and the Black Tie Comedy Awards. These awards take pride of place beside her previous Black Entertainment & Comedy Award and numerous nominations as best female comic......

Glenda has toured up and down the country, has played American Air Forces bases, she is also in great demand abroad having toured to countries including Holland, Germany, Ghana and Gambia.! Glenda has also used her comic skills in the educational sphere hosting comedy workshops at places that include Feltham young offenders, female rehabilitation centres. This year Glenda starred in the short film ‘funny black singles’ for the BBC produced by Lenny Henry’s film company, Leopard Drama.
