Union learning reps discuss racism Hot

Joanna Trollope has Second Honeymoon with union learners World-renowned author Joanna Trollope will today share her love of reading with hundreds of union learning reps at a conference organised by unionlearn with the Southern and Eastern TUC (SERTUC). Joanna will be speaking alongside TUC Deputy Secretary General Frances O'Grady, SERTUC unionlearn Regional Manager Barry Francis, and unionlearn Director Liz Smith. The conference will bring together over 300 union learning reps from the Southern and Eastern regions for their first unionlearn conference.


The SERTUC unionlearn conference will also see Megan Dobney, Regional Secretary of Southern and Eastern TUC made a Skills for Life Advocate in recognition of her work in trade union education. Delegates from a variety of unions will discuss Train to Gain, challenging racism, vulnerable workers, managing personal finances and a range of other topics.
