Celebrating the wonderful, dynamic music from some of the great unsung originators who laid the foundation for what would eventually become known as “rock n roll”: Louis Jordan, Big Joe Turner, Little Richard, Amos Milburn, Ruth Brown, LaVern Baker,Cab Calloway, Lucky Millinder, Ike Turner, The Chords and many others.
Always a great night out, lively, welcoming and informal on the second Saturday of each month with occasional live music from some of the UKs best rockin' bands.
Dress code: Smart or retro, vintage, 1940s, 50s, 60s. Think Windrush, Mad Men, Pan am.
