Tiemo Entertainments Presents the 9th Black Comedy Awards 2011 A unique and one off night to honour and celebrate the funny men and women who have been making stand up comedy audiences laugh all year. An opportunity to enjoy a night of entertainment and find out who will be crowned Comedian of the year 2011. The 6 week voting process opened on 2nd October 2011 and people have until Friday 11th November 2011 to vote for their favourite comedians, shows and promoters. You are absolutely NOT restricted by the list below, so feel free to vote for any Black comedians you wish to give your vote to. After this a final short-list will be collated from the public votes and announced. The winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on 5th December 2011. 1. Best International Comedian - Chris Rock, Dana Alexander, Hannibal Burrell, Reginald D Hunter and W Kamau Bell 8. Best Comedy Promoter – Harmony Productions, RDCJ Promotions & Upfront Comedy 9. Best Regular Comedy night – Comedy Untapped and Upfront Cafe 10. Best Comedy moment of 2011 – e.g. funniest show or moment e.g. audience interaction, put down of a heckler and/or or comedian really making an especially memorable performance.
