Groundbreaking producers Upfront Comedy, “the most enterprising black comedy promoters in the country” (The Guardian) make their debut at Harrow Arts Centre with an award winning line up headed up by Comedy’s ‘Don’ Curtis Walker, who is quite simply one of the funniest men in the UK.
He’s joined by new CBeebies presenter, the feisty Ms London, winner of the Funny Women Award in 2009, with her rude girl take on modern life. Also featured is Somalian royalty,… Peckham’s Prince Abdi with his slanted observations that have featured on Comedy Central’s The World Stands Up and ITV’s Stand Up Hero.
Our host is comedian turned Teletubbie, John Simmit.
