Five Waterford residents who allegedly robbed a motorist at gunpoint had their cases transferred to the Gun Court on Wednesday.
Those charged are Richard McDonald, 18, Gerald Douglas, 22, and three juveniles including a girl.
When the five appeared in the Spanish Town Resident Magistrate's Court, they pleaded not guilty.
Allegations outlined by Clerk of Court Nicola Rowe are that on March 10 about 4:30 a.m., the complainant was held up by six persons at a bus stop near Mega Mart in Portmore.
Robbed of cellphone
They allegedly robbed him of a Samsung and BlackBerry cellular phone along with $5,500. It was revealed that all six ran into a community. The driver of a bus chased the thieves and grabbed one.
He later saw the police carrying the others minus the man with the gun.
Investigation by Detective Corporal Llewellyn Madden led to the five being charged with robbery with aggravation and illegal possession of firearm.
