Expo Jamaica 2012 was officially launched yesterday at a function held at the Wyndham Kingston Hotel. A joint initiative of the Jamaica Manufacturers' Association (JMA) and the Jamaica Exporters' Association (JEA), the expo, which will feature Jamaican-made products, takes place at the National Arena in Kingston from April 26 to 29. Here, operations manager of National Bakery, Steven Sykes (second right), tells Industry and Commerce Minister Anthony Hylton (centre) more about his company's water crackers at yesterday's launch. Vitus Evans (left), president of the JEA; Sharon Ffolkes-Abrahams (second left), junior minister for industry and commerce; and Brian Pengelley, president of the JMA, are apparently amused by the 'sales pitch'.
