Field Marshal Mohamed Hussein Tantawi has announced that starting tomorrow morning Egypt's emergency law will be lifted - except for cases of thuggery and chaos.

Tantawi also added in his statement on state television that he encourages the Egyptian youth to form an effective political party, insisting on the SCAF's full support of the youth.

The head of the Supreme Coucil of the Armed Forces also insisted that Egypt will keep its international and regional commitments, and expressed his trust in the country's newly elected People's Assembly.
