TEST A new play by Olivier Award-winning Bola Agbaje set in the political heat of Nigeria. BELONG a new play by Bola Agbaje
Royal Court & Tiata Fahodzi co-production
Election lost, speeches made and controversy stirred, Kayode - a British MP and a self-made man – escapes the political heat in London, and flees to Nigeria. But once there, he gets caught up in a whole new power game.
Bola Agbaje’s satirical new play questions our notion of home, our identity and finding a place to belong.
Bola’s previous plays include Gone Too Far, which won an Olivier Award.
Indhu Rubasingham directs the 7-strong cast including Lucian Msamati (Clybourne Park - Royal Court and The Comedy of Errors - National); Jocelyn Jee Esien (creator and star of Little Miss Jocelyn); Pamela Nomvete (Truth and Reconciliation; Now or Later - Royal Court); Richard Pepple (Fixer - Oval House) and Ashley Zhangazha (Truth and Reconciliation - Royal Court).
