TEST Ken Olisa scores two out of three FTSE100 board positions

Boutique technology merchant bank, Restoration Partners (http://www.restoration-partners.com), announces that its founder and chairman - Ken Olisa - has been named one of the top ten most influential black men in Britain.

A panel led by Baroness Amos of Brondesbury drew up the Powerlist 2008 published this week by Powerful Media.

Ken was recognised for his business and charitable achievements, including directorships of two FTSE 100 companies (ENRC and Thomson Reuters) and long-term chairmanship of Thames Reach - a charity determined to end street homelessness in London by 2012.

The Powerlist highlighted that there are only two FTSE100 companies whose boards include black directors, and Ken is two of them.

Ken Olisa said: "There is too much talk in the UK media about low levels of diversity, glass ceilings and frustrated potential. The Powerlist shows the truth: 100 role models prove that, if you're qualified and up for it, the UK is a land of opportunity - even in the highest echelons of business life. It is an honour to be part of such an impressive list."
