Mineral make up are made from minerals from the earth such as zinc, titanium oxide, mica, and ultramarine. The minerals are finely milled and particles ground down to a smooth consistency. Some pigment is added and the mineral make up is ready to be worn or applied with a cosmetic make up brush. Some brands provide a glow and some provide a hint of colour.As it is free of preservatives, dyes, and chemicals there is less irritation for sensitive skins. However if you are attempting to conceal dark marks then minerals may not hold enough pigment to conceal but will still provide a glowing complexion or a barely there look. Mineral are of great benefit because they are Great for all skin types, Ideal for sensitive skin and easy to apply. But remember if you want to cover dark marks then you WILL need a foundation base and a powder to set the foundation especially if your skin is oily.
