We will also be inspiring and motivating men of all ages to be successful with ease, despite obstacles that they may perceive to be in their way." He previously provided numerous seminars for black men and women, that offered powerful communication tools and methodologies in a controlled, positive and professional environment. At this seminar OConnor will be interviewing Dr. Chris Imafidon, who has created the brainiest family in the UK. He has set records of having the youngest child at 6 and twins aged 8 to achieve maths in GCSE and Advanced "A" Levels at Cambridge University. Des will also be providing the audience with a ‘Question Time’ panel discussing the most important issues surrounding young black men and the positive solutions that need to be put in place. The panellists will be:- Nicci Wilson, the Partnership Development Manager for Community Development and Growth for Youth Programmes, Michael Vincent a Professional Magician and Entrepreneur, Mistri (Paul Charlton) International DJ, Radio Host and Community Youth Worker and Robert and Enomfon Ntefon, Pastors and Christian Relationship Coaches.

Subsequently, he has held seminars where black women were competing with each other to be crowned the official Black Female Coach to work with the men. Eventually, he recruited a team of dedicated black women whom he had teamed up with, as their male counterpart, to develop a better understanding of the needs of black women, as well as the best methods of communication. The winner will be announced at the upcoming Positive Black Males launch. Some of O’Connor’s recent events include: • Why Are There So Many Single Black Women? • Why Are There So Many Single Black Women in the Church? • Are Black Men Intimidated by Strong, Successful, and Assertive Black Women?
He also recently conducted a series of dating events held at the elegant Thistle Hotel in Central London. Each of these events brought 60 plus single, black men and women together to meet in a loving, positive and supportive environment. There will be a special presentation for the winner of Des’ first female black coach competition who will be responsible for providing the men with relationship and life coaching. Over 100 women applied for this post over the last 2 years and the winner will be awarded the prize on the night. Des will also be announcing a project that will enable black boys and men to learn, develop, motivate whilst inspiring them to be successful. There will be an option for them to be paid at the same time, along with the opportunity of working with Dr. Chris Imafidon to learn how black children can excel at school.
This will provide a positive platform for black businesses to exhibit and present their services and products. It will also provide work experience opportunities, with a view to employment for aspiring black boys and men in search of guidance in their chosen field of interest.
