What should I do?

It's quite simple just SPREAD THE WORD and tell your family and friends to spread the word also.
We have provided an online sample flyer which you can print/photocopy and circulate within your area.The flyer is in .PDF format and will require Acrobat reader.
Text or email messages to your Family/Friends and let them know.
Notify your local community papers/Radios etc....
We will be providing a copy of the Radio ad so Radio Stations etc can download and play on their radio
We ask that you adhere to the 1 minute Silence at exactly 12 noon to remember, reflect, repair & respect those suffering at the hands of Black on Black Violence, Racism and the Homeless, no matter where you are or what you are doing.
We ask that where possible invite friends and families for dinner, contact someone you haven't spoke to in a while, go out somewhere as a family, this day is a total day of commitment to those special to you. A day to heal any outstanding riffs, start as you mean to go on.
If you are a promotor or business, organise an event on the 5/6/7th of October in celebration of Black Family Day spreading the word and we will help advertise it on the Black Family Day Site. Example: Park events, evening Events, outdoor family activities, picnics etc...
Print T-Shirts, Key rings, Pens, Mugs, Greeting Cards, Post Cards, Calendars.
Whoever you regard as your family, this day is for you and them, make it special - Black Family Day Sunday 3 October 2004.
