The Area Five police yesterday released the identities of the 18 most-wanted persons across its five divisions.
Statistics released show that 12 are wanted for murder, four for rape and one each for carnal abuse and shooting with intent.
Speaking at press conference at the Grants Pen Police Station, Commanding Officer for Area Five, Assistant Commissioner of Police Novlette Grant, appealed to members of the public for support in finding the 17 men and one woman.
The list includes Kenrick Oshane Campbell, who is wanted for the beheadings of a mother and her daughter in Lauriston, St Catherine, last year.
It also includes 50-year-old Patricia Cornwall, who is wanted by the St Andrew North police for allegedly killing her husband in front of their seven-year-old child.
Meanwhile, Director of Communications for the Jamaica Constabulary Force, Karl Angell, said the police have prepared case files for those listed.
He said once they are taken into custody they will be interviewed before charges are filed.
