The Pharaohs of Egypt stormed back into the top ten Africa Ranking after dropping out for some months.
The seven time African champions , Egypt played some friendly matches lately without losing a match and this helped Coach Bob Bradley’s side jump from 13th position on last month’s African ranking into 8th position this month. Current African champions , Chipolopolo of Zambia dropped a place into 5th after swapping places with Mali who now sit in 4th place.
There have been no changes for the top three positions with Ivory Coast still in first place followed by Ghana and Algeria. Bafana Bafana of South Africa moved in the opposite direction to Egypt as the AFCON 2013 hosts dropped from 10th last month to 15th this month. Gabon remain in 6th position, with Libya in 7 th place . Tunisia and Nigeria dropped a place each to end up in 9th and 10th respectively.
