A range of options are available. The Open Market HomeBuy scheme offers purchasers a loan of up to 25% of the property value. For many people this scheme is the difference between making that step onto the property ladder or staying in rented accomodation. New Build HomeBuy is a shared ownership scheme giving purchasers the option to buy an affordable percentage of a property while paying rent on the remaining share. Buyers then have the option to purchase further shares until owning the property outright.
