Robbed murder victim is named
At around 4am on Sunday, August 1, a fire alarm went off in the venue and clubbers congregated outside. Mr Anokye was separated from his friend and became involved in a dispute with up to 10 black youths.
He was stabbed and kicked before being robbed.
His killers fled on foot. Detectives believe most of the gang ran down Brixton Road towards Brixton Tube station and at least one ran down Saltoun Road. Police were called to the scene at 4.15am.
Mr Anokye, who was born in Ghana, was rushed to King's College Hospital in Camberwell but was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.
A post-mortem at Greenwich Mortuary on August 1 gave the cause of death as multiple stab injuries.
Detective Chief Inspector David Garwood, of the Specialist Crime Directorate, based in Lewisham, has appealed for witnesses to come forward.
The DCI said: "We would like to hear from anyone who saw the group of youths running from the churchyard.
"They were casually dressed, wearing hooded tops and baseball hats."
