Today police rearrested Martin and charged him with two race-related offences before releasing him on bail to appear in court next week. Officers launched an investigation after racist comments were posted on the website following the murder of Anthony Walker in Huyton. On July 29, the 18-year-old was attacked and killed with a single blow with an ice axe as he walked through McGoldrick park with his girl-friend and cousin. Huyton men Paul Taylor and Michael Barton - the cousin and brother of Manchester City midfielder Joey Barton - were jailed for life for the killing after both pleaded guilty to murder at Liverpool crown court. In September, Martin, of Hillary Crescent, Maghull, was arrested after friends of Anthony Walker complained to police about the offensive postings on the website - a site set up by the teenager with friend Jamie Sullivan about the rap group the pair were in.
