Football Racial AbuseA 20-year-old man was arrested and charged with racist chanting during the football match between Peterborough United and Lincoln City on Saturday.

The Peterborough player, believed to be defender Sagi Burton(pictured), reported the incident to referee Gary Lewis.
The alleged altercation occurred at the front of the Stacey West Stand during the second half of Posh's (Peterborough) away fixture.

The man, who has yet to be named, was ejected from the ground by a club steward and handed over to police officers.

He was charged with racist chanting and will appear at Lincoln Magistrates' Court on Friday.

If the case is proved, a threeyear banning order could be imposed on the offender, while Lincoln City may also seek to add its own punishment.
