zainabkalokoh.jpgA FOURTH teenager has appeared at the Old Bailey accused of shooting a woman in the head as she cradled a baby at a christening. The 17-year-old, who cannot be named, is said to have been part of a gang who killed Zainab Kalokoh, 33, after gatecrashing the family celebration.

The youths allegedly burst into the Wood Dene Community Centre in Peckham and stole valuables from the partygoers on August 27 last year.

Ms Kalokoh was gunned down in front of 100 terrified guests as she held a relative's six-month-old baby, who was unharmed.

Another 17-year-old, a 16-year-old and a 15-year-old have already appeared in court charged with her murder.

On Thursday, the fourth youth appeared in court by video link from jail and spoke only to confirm his name in the short hearing.

He was remanded in custody by the Recorder of London, Judge Peter Beaumont, and will appear with the three other defendants at Southwark Crown Court next Monday for a plea and directions hearing.

The youths, of South London, are due to stand trial on October 3.
