A 17 year old young man was fighting for his life in hospital this morning, after being shot in the neck shortly after arriving at a private party at a restaurant in Rusholme. The 17-year old boy was rushed to the Manchester Royal Infirmary, where his condition is described as critical but stable after emergency treatment.
Police officers were called to the Tabak, on the famous `curry mile' late last night, following reports of a disturbance at the Indian restaurant. Part of Wilmslow Road was cordoned off for four hours while officers dealt with the incident and an examination of the scene was carried out by forensic experts. Police say a man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, but detectives are keen to talk to anyone who saw what happened. It's reported an on going freud between rival gangs fallow field man dem and longsight is the cause of the attack. |
