COPS hunting a knife gang who stabbed a man in the back during a bungled robbery have released an e-fit of one attacker. The thug and his two accomplices confronted their 51-year-old victim out-side Burke House, in Hope Street, Battersea, and demanded money.
He tried to run but they grabbed him and stabbed him in the back and elbow. A passing car in Maysoule Road caused the suspects to panic. They ran off towards Wynter Street. The victim was able to take himself to hospital following the attempted robbery at 7.45pm on October 6 and was treated for minor knife wounds. His attackers were described as two black men in their early 20s and an oriental man of similar age. Information should be forwarded to the Wandsworth, London, Priority Crime Unit on 020 8247 8872 or Crimestoppers, to remain anonymous, on 0800 555 111.
