Blacknet was established in 1997 and progressed quickly into a full blown website to include chat rooms, forums, Newsletters, dating and more which became very popular within the African and Caribbean Community.
To date blacknet has over 100,000 members across its portals and is recognised by many Advertising Agencies as the most powerful medium for Marketing or Promotion to the African and Caribbean Community. We are rapidly becoming the bridge that connects the diverse ethnic communities together and will be pushing for even more interaction across these communities as part of our 2007 rise above racism campaign.
Blacknet aims to create a platform that will bring the young and ambitious members of our community in contact with the more mature successful and/or ambitious older persons either as mentors or just for inspiration and/or motivation. Blacknet will bring together new and current afrocentric and diversity organisations by offering them a a free platform to promote their mandate and relevent news information to our data base. In 2007 Blacknet will make a difference to the diverse ethnic interaction. If you want to be part of the positive and uplifting. revolution please contact us with your ideas or proposals and we will make it available to our members and friends. |
