Every Wednesday throughout Black History Month, Celebrate London Borough of Tower Hamlets Black History Month with the finest films of Sidney Poitier. One of Hollywood's most beloved and talented actors, Poitier's prolific career includes groundbreaking performances and politically charged roles.
Admire his critically acclaimed performance as the handsome suitor in "Guess who's Coming to Dinner?" or as Virgil Tibbs, police detective, in "In the Heat of the Night." Every Wednesday in October will offer the opportunity to relax under the stars in the East Wintergarden and enjoy a meal and a movie.
Doors 7:00pm, screenings start 7:30pm
