Taking A Diversion From Your Path

Posted by Dionne_Jude in Untagged

As you walk you path today know that sometimes it's necessary to take what might seem like a diversion from the path you are on. Diversions can work for you if you are able to use them wisely and make sure that you get the most out of them, especially if you are committed to returning and getting back on course.
Diversions may be necessary if you need to take time out for personal reasons, to regain financial stability, to re-energise and take a break, to review which way to go next, to follow a course of study that will equip you further. What ever the reason is know that it is okay.

Walking In Faith

As you walk you path today know that when you step out in faith the powers that be will meet you half way. The illusion that you have to do everything by yourself is just that an illusion - and when a person believes or buys into this they may experience their journey as an up hill battle.

You were born to achieve great things, and I work with so many people who are following great paths. As you walk your path today stop trying to drag the universe with you and allow yourself to work with the flow and energy of life.

Sometimes people can become so busy walking their path that they forget to take time out to connect with source in order to let the suppport or the guidance they need in. Periods of stillness on a daily basis, gets you and your ego out of the way, allowing in what you need along your path. The powers that be always know what you need, even before you ask. Is Oprah Right About Numbers Of Single Black Women?

Posted by Dionne_Jude in Untagged

A recent discussion on Oprah touched on the subject of relationships – leading with the headline; Up to 70% of black (African-American) women in the US are single. I am not sure whether the saying ‘The UK is always five years behind the US’ still stands - due to increased globalisation and use of the internet, and Web 2.0 technology.

Yet, is this the case for black women in the UK, and if so, what are the reasons for this - taking into consideration the different historical, social, and political aspects. I have friends who are both single and in relationships, so rather than using my subjective experience I am interested in finding out what you think.

Some of the reasons cited on Oprah were…

*Number of black women out number men
*Number of black men incarcerated
*More black men than women dating outside their race
etc.

By all means this is not a new topic – and as a coach and trainer have I joined in similar debates and topics posted on Facebook, www.sistatalk.co.uk, and other social networks. Also I believe there is nothing wrong with being single - as for many it is a conscious choice.
